Authenmetric----near-infrared face recognition system
|
| |
|
|
 |
Technical Background: |
|
|
Human face recognition is the most natural, visual and potential way of biological identity recognition, which could meet the human physiological visual habits as people recognize others by face recognition.
The capability of face recognition is restricted by many outside environmental conditions: the variation of lighting, expression, age and accessories. Amongst the aforementioned the change of light intensity is the most crucial factor. Traditional face recognition techniques are based on images captured with ample visual light.Changes of outside lighting impedes performance of recognition so dramatically that it would not meet the practical needs.
The capability to adapt and control the outside lighting and other environmental conditions is the key technological bottleneck that slows down the spreading of human face recognition.
The near-infrared human face recognition of Authenmetric is the world's first human face recognition technology that is not influenced by outside lighting. This near-infrared technology from Authenmetric holds many international patents and is proven to perfectly resolve the lighting problem.
With its excellent near-infrared recognition ability, the technology can overcome the impact of lighting variations, and subsequently adds to the capabilities of three-dimensional image recognition as well as other human face recognition technologies, in its accuracy, stability and speed of the overall system performance.?
In addition, Authenmetric made a breakthrough in research and application development of the mixed-recognizing of infrared and visual light images, which is compatible with existing visual light, human face databases and makes the human face recognition technology more useful in real life applications. |

Systematical outline: |
|
|
The near-infrared human face recognition of Authenmetric uses an innovative technology which originated from digital Authenmetric and won global patents.
It completely broke through the barriers of human face recognition with regards to recognition rates. The system is the world's most accurate and fastest human face recognition technology, irregardless of the lighting environment and can be used in an entirely dark conditions. |
 |
Notable features: |
|
|
Patented human face recognition technology: the world's first human face recognition technology, with many international patents, not restricted by lighting variations.
A perfect solution of lighting problems that is not affected by outside lighting. It can capture in real-time faces in a dynamic environment with precise positioning, rapid recognition and can even prevent a picture from a real face to prevent deceptive attempts
Rapid recognition with 1 second response time from capturing the first image by a camera
High accuracy at over 99.5%
The recognition is easy to use and is solely based on human face recognition, without any auxiliary measures, such as cards, passwords, etc.
Flexible expansion allows to integrate with other systems and products, and can support face recognition within large masses of people. The interface applies to the international standard, and therefore can seamlessly access existing security system ;
The computing technology also supports a combination with other passwords or biological featured technologies to achieve an increased safety management.
Excellent compatibility: supports a variety of database systems, capable of establishing high efficient mechanisms to achieve quick search index results.
Modular network: integrates an efficient bus transfer functionality for application with varying form and scale.
Independent intellectual property rights: fully patented software and hardware design, with stable and reliable system architecture.
Professional product certification: Adopted the authoritative test of Identity Authentication Products and Technologies from China's Information Security Evaluation and Certification Center. |

The near-infrared human face recognition system has two following product forms.Users can select the appropriate application to meet their own needs from a large set of options within the near-infrared face recognition system.
One-touch recognition machine:
The one-touch recognition machine integrates the capture, display, recognition, and control of near-infrared human face images in order to achieve the registration and access management of the people through a stand-alone face recognition equipment. It enables stand-alone operation and can access to the RJ45 network as well.
Distribution Mount machine & Identification Control Unit:
The distribution mount machine is responsible for the collection of near-infrared human face images and can be placed separately from the recognition control unit in another location. The distribution mount machine provides easy-to-use interactive instructions between people and the equipment. It can be installed on the wall integrated in any other cabinet. The identification control unit can be placed in a safe place such as a master control room.Any recognition control unit can manage four distribution mount stand-alone interfaces at the same time, realizing the multi-channel parallel acquisition, recognition and control. The recognition control unit can get access to RJ45 network. |
